What is Amigurumi?
Amigurumi (pronounced “ah-mee-goo-roo-mee”) combines the Japanese words “ami” (crocheted or knitted) and “nuigurumi” (stuffed doll). It’s a delightful craft that uses basic crochet stitches to create three-dimensional, often whimsical, characters and objects.

What to expect

This workshop will cover:

– The Magic Ring (or Magic Circle): The essential technique for starting your Amigurumi projects with a neat, seamless center.
– Crocheting in the Round: Learning to work continuously in a spiral to create smooth, stuffed shapes without visible seams.
– Increasing Stitches: How to add stitches to expand your shape and create curves.
– Decreasing Stitches: How to reduce stitches to taper your shape and form details.
– Basic Amigurumi Pattern Reading: Understanding the common abbreviations and instructions in Amigurumi patterns.
– Stuffing Techniques: Tips and tricks for evenly stuffing your creations for the perfect squishy feel.
– Adding Facial Features / Embellishments: Bringing your Amigurumi to life with safety eyes, embroidered details, and other fun additions.
– Finishing & Assembly: Neatly joining parts and weaving in ends for a polished look.

Materials provided :

•⁠ ⁠Hardcopy of various knitting pattern
•⁠ ⁠Polyfill fiber (for stuffing)
•⁠ ⁠Thread cutter
•⁠ ⁠Stitch markers
•⁠ ⁠Keychain ring(if required)

We aim to provide an enjoyable experience for all attendees. To that end, we ask that you please refrain from engaging in any sort of disruptive behavior, including but not limited to: being excessively loud, making offensive comments or gestures, refusing to follow event staff instructions, and bringing outside food or drink into the venue. If you violate any of these rules, you may be asked to leave the event without a refund.

All tickets purchased are valid for 14 days from the date of purchase and ideal bookings to be given 24 hours before.
Timing for the date booked is subject to availability.
No refund will be allowed once the ticket is purchased.
We request you reach the venue at least 15 mins prior to your event scheduled time for seamless entry and commencement of the event.
For reservation and confirmation of date and time please contact the merchant directly. Rescheduling a booked slot for the activity/ event is subject to the merchant’s discretion.

The organizer reserves the right to refuse entry to any attendee who appears to be intoxicated or under the influence of drugs.
